ASISA INTERNACIONAL is a policy designed to let you keep the best healthcare coverage if you decide to study or work outside Spain. We want you to enjoy the same peace of mind you have at home.

The policy can be taken out in three different modes: Basic, Extended and Comprehensive. The first two modes cover healthcare arising from any sudden event (unforeseen illness/accident) or occupational accident abroad. The Comprehensive mode also includes more services and doctors for you to choose from whenever you want.

The Basic mode covers medical costs up to €30,000 per year while the Extended and Comprehensive modes cover costs up to €60,000 per year.

Travel insurance as well

You are covered against any mishaps on your travels by the best complete Travel Insurance (covering prolongation of stay, companion's costs, shipment of medicines, legal assistance, etc)

And to ensure you are always cared for, when you visit Spain temporarily (holidays, working visits, etc.) you will be covered by our ASISA Salud policy, complete insurance cover that also provides access to additional services and treatments.

Premium

The premium varies depending on the mode chosen and whether the insured person is a worker or student. You can choose to pay the premium in monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, six-monthly or annual instalments

Waiting periods (shall only be applied when the insured person is in Spain)

Hospitalizations: 8 months
Ambulatory Surgery: 6 months
Family planning: 6 months
Special diagnostic tests: 6 months
Special techniques of treatment: 6 months
Psychotherapy: 6 months

Discounts for payment method

Quarterly payment: 2%
Semi-annually payment: 4%
