What is the Second Medical Opinion? 
The second medical opinion consists of telephone consultations with renowned experts at national or international level with the aim of helping the patient in relevant medical decisions about their health.
As a policyholder, you will have the possibility of requesting this service without additional cost relating to both treatment and diagnosis of the following serious diseases:

Oncology

Heart disease, including heart surgery and angioplasty

Organ transplant

Neurological and neurosurgical, including cerebrovascular accidents

Complex orthopedic surgery

Syndromes and congenital malformations

Degenerative diseases and nervous system demyelinating

Diseases and problems resulting from renal failure
Beginning in 2014, service may also be requested for other diseases other than those listed, including diseases considered rare or complex diseases and provided that the applicant provides sufficient medical information (diagnostic and treatment) to submit them to experts of recognised prestige.

Do I have any other service?
In addition, by being assured of Asisa, you have two additional services that will help you when you need it most:

Guidance medical: we assign you a doctor who perfectly know your history and your case, so you share with him your evolution and you can ask whatever you need. It will allow you to answer medical questions 24 hours a day through a telephonic consultation.

Support Psychoemotional: when it's a serious case, is as important as support health care at certain times. You will have up to 5 telephone session to talk with a psychologist who will listen, guide and support emotionally overcome any adversity.
