Remember before you take out the policy:

Proving your status as ex-beneficiary
- ASISA Estrella is intended for the beneficiaries of public servants who are no longer public servants for any reason (causing them to be removed from the mutual fund).
- If the ASISA Estrella policy is taken out in the two months following a public servant's removal from the mutual fund, the waiting periods shall be eliminated.
- To prove he/she is an ex-beneficiary, the policyholder (the payer of the insurance premiums) must submit one of the following documents:
  - Certificate or similar document indicating the date on which he/she was removed from the mutual fund.
  - Mutual fund ex-beneficiary card
Proving your status as close relative
Family members (spouses and children) of the policyholder may be insured persons. You may prove your status as close relative through the following documents:
- Family book
- Common-law marriage registration certificate
- Voter registration certificate
- Cohabitation certificate
- Banking contract
